Decide what goes live: Jobs and Review

June 28, 2026 AI enrichment can fill thousands of attribute values in minutes. The harder question has always been the one that comes next: which of those values do you trust enough to put in front of customers? For a long time, generating content and deciding what to keep were tangled together in a single view, which made it hard to move fast and stay in control at the same time. This release pulls the two apart. A job runs your agents and proposes values. The new Review surface is where you decide what actually goes live. When review is turned on, nothing reaches your products or your integrations until you approve it. The result is enrichment you can run at scale and still stand behind. You will find Review at the top of the Products area, as a tab next to Catalog, and you can drop straight into a single run from the Jobs page.

Two steps, clearly separated

Enrichment now happens in two distinct stages. First a job processes your selected products with the agents linked to your attributes and proposes new values. Then those values wait for a decision. What happens to them depends on one toggle. With Review on, proposed values are held as pending and collected on the Review surface for your approval. With it off, they are applied to your products automatically as soon as they are generated. The toggle starts from your organization’s approve-before-push setting, and you can override it for any single run.

A queue built for decisions

The Review surface lists one row per product, with a card for every proposed value. Each card shows the attribute, the language, and a status: In review, Approved, Rejected, Failed, Skipped, or Outdated. You can narrow the queue by language, by job, or by attribute, and you can hide the values that failed or were skipped once you have dealt with them. Three actions cover everything you will want to do:

• Approve keeps a value and saves it to the product.
• Reject discards it and leaves the current value untouched.
• Dismiss clears a failed or skipped value once you have seen it, since there is nothing there to approve.

Approvals and rejections can carry an optional comment, which is useful when a teammate reviews the same catalog later. When you trust the output, select many values, or whole product rows, and decide in bulk. For a large bulk decision, Cernel asks you to confirm first.

The reasoning behind every value

Reviewing well means understanding what you are looking at, so each product opens into a detail view with three columns. On the left is the current value saved on the product today. In the middle are the pending values awaiting your call. On the right is an inspector that explains the value you have selected. The inspector shows where the value came from and, if it was translated, which language it was translated from. It also opens up the work behind the value: the attributes the agent used as inputs, the agent’s own reasoning, and the exact prompt that produced the result. A reviewer is never left guessing why the AI wrote what it wrote. From here you can edit a value before approving it, approve everything still pending on the product at once, and step through products with Previous and Next.

Jobs, focused on tracking

With decisions moved to Review, the Jobs page is now a clean record of what has run. Each row shows the job’s status, its progress, whether an automation or a person started it, and when. Open a job and you land in the Review surface scoped to just that run, where decided values stay in place so you can see the full picture of what the job produced. Earlier runs are tucked under Show older jobs, and a badge on the sidebar keeps the count of active jobs in view wherever you are.

Why it matters

Generating content and approving it are different jobs, and they deserve different tools. By separating them, Cernel lets your agents do the heavy lifting while you keep a fast, clear checkpoint before anything ships. You get the scale of AI enrichment and the confidence of having looked at every value that mattered, with the prompt and reasoning right there when you need them.
