Collections vs. Groups

When viewing products, you can filter by Collections or Groups: Collections (Platform Categories):
  • Imported from your e-commerce platform
  • Manually curated by you
  • Hierarchical structure (parent/child)
  • Example: “Clothing → Men’s → Shirts”
Groups (Dynamic Rules):
  • Defined in Cernel with automatic rules
  • Products assigned based on conditions
  • Example: “Products where price > $100 AND color = Red”

Empty States

If no products are visible:
  • No Products Synced: Connect your store or upload a feed
  • No Matches: Adjust your search or filters
  • Collection Empty: This category has no products assigned

Multi-Site Products

If you have multiple sites (e.g., US and EU stores), you can:
  • Use the site selector to view product data from each site
  • See which attributes differ between sites
  • Enrich specific sites independently or all at once
Multi-language enrichment requires separate sites with different language settings. See Multi-Language Content for details.

Best Practices

When trying new attribute prompts or settings, enrich 5-10 products first to test the quality before processing your entire catalog.
Ensure products are assigned to the correct primary collection before enriching—this gives the AI better context about product type and purpose.
For hero products or best-sellers, always review AI content carefully before applying it. Consider adding manual edits for extra polish.
SKUs should be unique and consistent across platforms. This ensures Cernel can accurately track and sync products.
