How it works
The Product Feed integration reads product data from an XML or CSV feed. You provide the feed source, Cernel ingests the products, and they appear in your Catalog ready for enrichment. You can also configure a feed export to push enriched data to Google Merchant Center or other feed consumers. Why you would use this

Frequently asked questions
What feed formats are supported?
What feed formats are supported?
XML (Google Shopping format), CSV, and text feeds. The most common format is the Google Shopping Feed XML specification.
Can the feed be refreshed automatically?
Can the feed be refreshed automatically?
If you provide a feed URL, Cernel can re-fetch the feed to pick up product updates. The sync mode controls whether it replaces all products or only updates changed ones.
What does Auto Push Export do?
What does Auto Push Export do?
When enabled, changes to product data automatically trigger a new feed export. This keeps your Google Shopping Feed in sync with your enriched content without manual intervention.
Why is one of my attributes missing from the Google Shopping Feed?
Why is one of my attributes missing from the Google Shopping Feed?
The Google Shopping Feed only emits fields that are part of Google’s Product Data Specification (such as
title, description, brand, gtin, price, and the image fields). If you map a Cernel attribute that isn’t a recognized Google field (for example a custom “Sneaker Style” attribute), it is silently dropped from the feed rather than added as a new column. To carry your own values into the feed, map them to one of Google’s five custom label fields, custom_label_0 through custom_label_4, which accept arbitrary text (commonly used for campaign segmentation in Google Ads). If you need to send fully arbitrary fields to another system, use the Public API instead of the Google feed. What’s next
